Ambassador Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Pictet-Althann participated as Capitular at the Extraordinary Chapter General of the Sovereign Order of Malta.<\/p>\n<p>The Extraordinary Chapter General of the Sovereign Order of Malta was presided over by H.E. the Lieutenant of the Grand Master Fra\u2019 John Dunlap and H. Em. Cardinal Silvano Maria Tomasi, Special Delegate of the Holy Father. It was composed of 111 Capitulars.<\/p>\n<p>The Chapter General has the task of safeguarding the Order\u2019s charism and bringing it up to date by acknowledging and addressing the Order\u2019s most important issues. It plans activities, verifies the state of the Order\u2019s assets and guides international relations.
