During the general segment, states highlighted many of the same issues as the dignitaries during the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/unmissionge.orderofmalta.int\/en\/news\/opening-of-the-58th-regular-session-of-the-human-rights-council-high-level-segment-and-general-segment\/\">high-level segment<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><em>An <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/unmissionge.orderofmalta.int\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2025\/03\/58th-Session-General-Segment-Statement-Final.docx\">intervention<\/a><\/span> was made by H.E. Ambassador Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Pictet-Althann, Permanent Observer of the Order to UNOG. In her statement, she highlighted the crucial nature of respect for the rule of law and the Order&#8217;s steadfast commitment to multilateralism.
