On 23 March, an event organized by OCHA brought together representatives of Lebanon and humanitarian actors to discuss the escalating crisis in the region. The session highlighted the severe impact on civilians, including mass displacement, attacks on infrastructure, and urgent needs for protection, healthcare, and basic services all around the region. The majority of delegations, including representatives from other Arab and European countries and International Organizations, emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation, protection of civilians and humanitarian workers, and full respect for international humanitarian law. They highlighted the importance of coordinated humanitarian action, predictable funding, and safe access to deliver assistance effectively to affected populations across the region.<\/p>\n
