Ambassador Boris Ruge provided insights into NATO’s current priorities, efforts and challenges in the aftermath of The Hague Summit. He outlined the Alliance’s commitment and determination to deliver on collective defense, increased defense spending and support for Ukraine amid evolving security challenges. He also explained NATO’s work on cooperative security, crisis prevention and management and its renewed effort to engage with its partners in international Geneva and beyond. During the discussion he emphasized the importance of adapting partnership networks, thereby referring to the human security aspect in stabilization operations with “women, peace and security” being a priority area.
