On 11 February 2026, the Permanent Mission of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan organised a High-Level event, the 11th Geneva Interfaith Dialogue, in the framework of the World Interfaith Harmony Week at the United Nations Office at Geneva. The panel serves as a space for reflection on the relationship between faith, politics, and society while building onto the principles of the UN General Assembly and encouraging a space for understanding and cooperation.
H.E. Ambassador Marie-Thérèse Pictet-Althann made an intervention in which she highlighted that the Geneva Interfaith Dialogue serves a key platform connecting faith and international cooperation, pointing out the Sovereign Order of Malta’s longstanding participation. She stressed that multilateralism is essential in solving global crises, and that interfaith dialogue strengthens trust, cooperation, and humanitarian action, while promoting solidarity and shared human values across different communities.
