On 17th June 2025, Mr. Yannick Galeazzi, First Secretary, intervened on behalf of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Interactive Dialogue with the Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory including East Jerusalem. During his statement, he expressed deep concern regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling on all parties to conflict to uphold and comply with International Human Rights Law. To conclude, he reiterated the Order’s call for a ceasefire, humanitarian access to the Gaza strip and adoption of the Two-state solution.
