Every year, members of the Order of Malta around the world gather on the feast of St. John. This year, the Swiss Association’s event was held in Geneva with the main ceremony, the Pontifical Mass, being celebrated at the church of St. Joseph. On this occasion, new Knights and Dames were admitted to the Order. The musical program was performed by St. Joseph’s choir, accompanied by invited soloists, included a Missa Brevis by Michael Haydn, the Laudate Dominum by W.A. Mozart and O’Salutaris Hostia by C. Gounod. Some 500 members and friends of the Order, special guests and parishioners participated in the liturgy. For more information, please visit the website of the Swiss Association.
