HRC55 – ID statement on disabilities

Mr. Yannick Galeazzi, First Secretary, intervened during the Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities on the 11th of March, 2024.

Galeazzi reaffirmed the Order’s dedication to promoting the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities through advocacy and projects worldwide.

The Order of Malta supports the vision for integrating disability rights into the Sustainable Development Goals and emphasises the necessity of including faith-based organisations in these efforts.
