The Covid-19 pandemic continues to impact the international community and the entire human family. The crisis calles into question economic, health and social systems. In such times, the uncertainty, inequalities and divisions, both among and within States, have become more and more visible, to the detriment of the most vulnerable. Inspired by the words of the Holy Father, and to reinforce the urgent need for genuine cooperation and multilateralism centered on the human person, the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva is organizing a High-Level Event on Fraternity, Multilateralism and Peace co-sponsored by the Sovereign Order of Malta, with its diplomatic mission to Geneva.
The event will be structured in two 45-minute panels:
- Panel 1 – “Fraternity, Multilateralism and Peace”
Moderator: H.E. Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations Office in Geneva - Panel 2 – “Fraternity, Interreligious Dialogue and Social Justice”
