Human Rights 75 High-Level Event (11-12 December 2023)
The Permanent Mission of the Order of Malta to the UN in Geneva participated in the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) at the Palais des Nations.
The Sovereign Order of Malta pledged to to be a forceful vocal defender of International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law, respecting its principles and provisions to protect civilians, and guaranteed their basic rights, in partnership with other States, organisations and entities at the international level.
The Order of Malta is also in the process of establishing a fund aimed at supporting programs and initiatives in favour of the promotion of human rights and humanitarian activities carried out by entities of the Order itself.
